About

I am Matt Morrissette. In the summer of 2014, I had the great pleasure of traveling to Alaska on a family vacation. That, in of itself, was not special or all that rare, but two things happened to me on that trip: I was thoroughly bitten by the photography bug, and I became inspired to share my travel experiences.

Although this is not the beginning of either my travels or of my photography it does represent a beginning (Thank you, Robert Jordan). Over the course of the next days, weeks, months, and hopefully years I would like to share my perspective on the places I visit, the people and businesses I encounter, and the equipment I use through words and images.

I hope you enjoy my perspective.

You can also find me at National Georgraphic – Your Shot.

An a special thanks to my evil stepmother, Nan Heldenbrand Morrissette, The Editor-in-Chief of AMorrissettePerspective.com.
